storyline is mainly set in and around the Frome - on a fictitious private stretch of this fabled chalkstream.

Three visits to the actual Frome - for research purposes and to fly-fish the river - have produced a number of photos and video from various locations around Dorset and in Dorchester (which also features in the novel).

The river runs west to east through central Dorset to Wareham Channel, Poole Harbour and the English Channel.
